Panthro

Panthro was Lion-O’s mentor and bodyguard if I remember correctly. He was also a skilled mechanic. His entry into the Savage World Thundercats line is really great, but as a character, he’s a bit boring for me.

Panthro is a simple figure, but he’s a simple character. I like the spiked suspenders, but something about his head sculpt is off to me.

Panthro’s only accessory is his Nunchucks. They look a bit small in his hands. Again, we have the issue of the hands being so rigid that it’s difficult to get them to open enough to accept the weapon. I do like how the Nunchucks have tightly molded claws on them.

I think the following image shows how the head looks weird. The proportions are off, and the neck sits weird on the shoulders. Still, it’s a minor quibble.

Even with a few minor nitpicks, it’s still a great figure and a great addition to the Savage World Thundercats line.
