R711 Speeder MK1r

The “Speeder” is a four wheeled vehicle that transforms into a walker for a single pilot. This lightweight vehicle is used by many segments in the Agurts military, and in this case it’s the R711 Riot Squad. This is a rather small toy, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in fun and play value.

The Speeder is only a few inches long, and features hard, all-terrain wheels, a roll cage, and a moveable gatling gun under the control section.

The figure is the standard R711 Riot Squad officer, and he comes equipped with a pistol. Like all of the 1:28 B2Five figures, he’s very poseable.

It’s a tight fit getting the figure to sit in the Speeder with the roll cage closed.

It feels more like he’s wearing the Speeder as opposed to riding it.

The Speeders walking mode is achieved by separating the legs and folding them down, then unfolding the foot pegs. It’s nice and stable.

I love the R711 Riot Squad color scheme, and I can’t wait until more are released in this theme. I can see a good way to focus your collection by just specializing in the specific units.

My only criticism of the toy is that there are small clips underneath the body of the speeder that touch the ground and keeps the wheels from rolling properly. These clips are used to connect the Speeder to the back of a Stronghold Mech, but we will showcase that feature in the next Speeder review.
