Raideen Canteen
This Raideen Canteen is an interesting little piece of ephermera. It was actually owned by a child, and his name is still on it!
This was made by a company called Nippon Suito, which basically means Japanese Water Bottle. I couldn’t find out much more about the company.
The canteen consists of an outer vinyl cover with a plastic bottle inside.
The name of the child appears to be Kawarasaki Shigeki, and he was in his first year, or grade 1. So he was likely 6 in 1976, would make him 53 in 2023. Shigeki, if you are out there, contact me and I will give this back to you!
There’s also a name tag on the strap
The reverse side has space for contact information.
