Ranger Gyro

Ranger Gyro is the second vehicle in the Hyper Green Ranger series. This one’s a Helicopter that can combine with the Ranger Tanser. I got this one used from YahooJapan, and it shows. Some parts, like the rubber tail sections, are nearly falling off. Still, it’s complete, and combines fine.

Lets look at the box first – typical sturdy TakaraTomy box, lots of great graphics showing off the action features. This one didn’t have instructions included, so the box was essential in sorting out all the gimmicks.

Having no battery features, Ranger Gyro is very light. It’s very cool looking.

A blue power cell is included.

Action features include an opening cockpit, movable gyros, and a vehicle launcher.

Pull the trigger on the top and the rotors spin. This works in any direction that the rotors are positioned in.

Lift the tail to reveal a compartment for a small Tomica vehicle. Pressing the yellow button on the side launches the vehicle. This feature is cool on its own, but is better when combined with Ranger Tanser.

Move the rotors, lift up the tail and insert the Tomica vehicle

Press the button and it launches the vehicle THROUGH the Ranger Tanser from the Gyro. In addition, the storage compartment at the rear of the Tanser also opens.

As a bonus, TakaraTomy designed this to be compatible with the Super Sonic Racer from Hyper Blue Police.
