Raideen Sugoroku Fukuwarai set
The Japanese company Seika made much of the ancillary merchandise for popular anime in the 70s. What’s fun about Seika is each piece is numbered and had the price printed on it. This set was only 300 yen back in probably 1975.
This piece is the Raideen Sugoroku Fukuwarai set. Sugoroku Fukuwarai (すごろくとふくわらい) is two games.
Sugoroku (すごろく) is a board game with a spinner sort of like Candyland.
Fukuwarai (とふくわらい) is a sort of pin the tail on the donkey game.
The emblem on the front I believe says “Have Fun Roulette” (たのしくあそべる ルーレットつき)
The package is colorful with a carrying handle. The front has a colorful illustration, while the back has the instructions.
Inside all the goods are paper.
The Fukuwarai game is a two-sided poster and a piece of cardboard with pop-out parts. Once side is Raideen’s face and the other is a classic Japanese face. The idea is to place the face parts on the poster.
The Sugoroku game consists of a one-sided poster and a spinner. Not sure how it is played, but looks a bit like Candyland.
