At this point it’s pretty clear that most companies who have licenses for the Amazing Spider Man movie are not doing much that actually has anything to do with the movie. This is an increasing phenomenon. Back in the day you would get toys or playsets of every critical thing that happened in the movie. These days it’s much different. I don’t know if it’s to avoid pre-release spoilers, or that the movies just aren’t as intersting.

The Spider-Man Speeder from Mega Bloks does not appear in the movie, but it makes for a cool toy. This is the kind of thing Spider Man would have rode around in the 70s.

Assembly is simple. This is definitely for the younger kids.

The car is neat. It has a beefy look and real rubber tires. It seems to sit low in the back; I don’t know if that’s by design or we screwed up.

The included Spider-Man figure is very cool. It’s molded in clear blue!
