Magmariser TDF/MRI

Original MSRP: 130

Well,I’m not a fan of Ultraman but I am a fan of Marmit. So, in my search for the Daigokin Deslar ShipAndromeda and while tracking down a Marmit Poseidon, Chinese to English translating emails miscomprehended me into this chogokin.

The box is gorgeous with wonderful graphics and a retro feel (better than the vehicle in my opinion). The Magmariser comes in the typical sealed tray that Marmit utilizes.

The MAGMARISER (which I never saw before I opened) is around 8 inches long and 80% die-cast… like a solid little metal puck on rollers. The lines are nice, I suppose. Honestly, for some reason, I loathe the thing and feel like I got “taken”. I like modern chogokin more than vintage and this definitely seems to be similar to the latter. Simple and solid.

The side round drills turn and front drill spins. They turn in conjunction with the front two wheels. The back two wheels and tracks turn but are not connected to the drill turning mechanism.

The item bores me and irritates me, I paid 150 including shipping and regret every dollar. I love the Poseidon and Deslar, but hate this thing. Maybe it is the complete disconnect to a cool sci-fi memory…I don’t know. I have it in my collection under duress. It is well crafted and has a nice amount of metal. If you love vintage over modern, then you probably will like it.
