I always loved the design of Warpath, so I was glad to see he was included in the beast-centric kingdom line. He’s a WWII era tank that transforms into a kick-ass robot.

Warpath

The Kingdom boxes are nice. They’ve still got that angled side, but now there’s a trading card included that you can see through a cut-out hole. Also, be careful as Hasbro is starting to stash accessories on the backside and underneath packaging. I could have easily thrown out his one accessory if I wasn’t paying attention.

Warpath

He’s a great looking robot with lots of surface detail and little craggly bits. There’s great articularion too – his form seems blocky but they’ve really done good things with it.

In robot mode he’s got 6 accessory ports, not including his hands. There’s two of the smaller pegs for blast and effect parts.

Again, articulation is great. The feet have a nice tilt but forward and back ankle movement is limited. Also, check out that crappy paint under the forearm.

Transformation is tricky. The top-half is easy, but the origami trickery to do the legs is overkill. Just not intuitive at all.

Warpath

Tank mode is fun, but there are some issues. I like how the shield clips in at the bottom and locks the legs together. The tank has little wheels on the bottom, but the pegs on the inside result in large gaps on the outside. Sometimes Hasbro’s plastic use shortcuts get a little silly.

Warpath

In tank mode, there are 8 accessory ports. (2 on each side, three underneath, one on the back of the turret)

The turret can rotate, and the barrel can lift up and down.

Warpath

My biggest issue with the whole toy is the choice to mold only the forearms in grey plastic, and then have the paint be terrible on it. You can see the grey through the holes, around the edges and onthe small peg.

Warpath

He’s still pretty fun overall though. Once you transform him a few times it’s easier to do. I would still recommend him.
