Zoe Washburne

Zoe Washburne is the wife of Hoban Washburne, pilot of the Serenity. Zoe fought alongside Mal in the Unification Wars, a fellow Browncoat. Today she is another badass in the crew of the best damn firefly-class ship in the galaxy.

The ReAction figure comes carded in the retro-style packaging. Looks good.

Zoe’s likeness is a little cartoony but it works. It’s passable.

What doesn’t work though is the giant gap where the two halves of her body meet. Each bend of a joint splits the gap farther apart.

Despite the manufacturing flaw, she looks good. Good color palette, plus a cool gun.

So after now having gotten a fair amount of ReAction figures, what have I learned? I’ve learned to look closely at the figure in package before purchasing as it seems about 50% have some kind of defect. I’ve also learned that I get about just as much enjoyment of these figures inside the package as outside. If it wasn’t my sworn duty to review them, they may have stayed entombed forever.
