Toy Line: Imaginext
Imaginext is a toy line by Mattel first released in 1998, and then undergoing a revision in 2006 to use the figure style still in use today. The toy line has featured many sub-genres such as Pirates, Dinosaurs, Space and even a long standing line of DC Comics Characters. In our opinion, Imaginext is the spiritual successor to Adventure People, and the designers must think so too, as they have often included Adventure People “tribute” figures in it’s line.
