Toy Line: Jumbo Machinder
“Jumbo Machinder” is the official name of a line of large toys (18″-23.5″) toys released by Popy and running from 1973 until 1982, with sporadic entries after that. Typically depicting robots from a variety of popular TV shows of the time, humanoid characters, kikaiju and even one vehicle were also produced. A series of power up accessories is also included in the line. Although many toys are commonly referred to as Jumbo Machinders, only those released by Popy (or later Bandai) and bearing the name on the package truly are.
