Toy Line: Machine Robo

Machine Robo (マシンロボ) was a toy line developed by Bandai subsidiary Popy in 1982, becoming a fully Bandai product in 1983. The initial toy line consisted of small transforming robots with diecast construction, labeled the 600 Series (due to their 600 yen price tag). This line would be imported to the US as Gobots by Tonka. The line would grow to include more items with the release of the Movie and Anime series Revenge of Chronos. A sequel line, the CG series, was released in 1993. The line was revived in 2003 as Machine Robo Rescue, and then a new line of transforming model kits was released in 2023 by Megahouse.
